Angela Robinson is an American film and television producer, writer, and director. She is best known for her work on the HBO series True Blood, the ABC series Scandal, and the feature films D.E.B.S. and Herbie: Fully Loaded. Robinson was born on February 14, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Southern California, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Literature. She then went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from the University of California, Los Angeles. Robinson began her career as a production assistant on the television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She then went on to write and produce for the series The District, The O.C., and Grey's Anatomy. In 2004, she wrote and directed the feature film D.E.B.S., which was released in theaters in 2005. She then wrote and directed the feature film Herbie: Fully Loaded, which was released in 2005. Robinson has also written and produced for the television series True Blood, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder. She is currently writing and producing for the upcoming series The L Word: Generation Q. As of 2021, Robinson's net worth is estimated to be approximately $2 million.
