Austin Ramirez is an American swimmer who was born on June 30, 1978 in Brookfield, Wisconsin, United States. He is currently 45 years old. Ramirez began swimming competitively at the age of 10 and went on to become a two-time All-American swimmer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a member of the U.S. National Team from 1998-2002 and competed in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. Ramirez has won numerous medals in international competitions, including a gold medal in the 200-meter butterfly at the 2001 World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. He also won a silver medal in the 200-meter butterfly at the 2002 Pan Pacific Championships in Yokohama, Japan. Ramirez is currently the head coach of the University of Wisconsin-Madison swim team. He is married to former U.S. National Team swimmer, Sarah Poewe, and they have two children. Ramirez has an estimated net worth of $2 million.
