Bob Seger is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist. He rose to fame in the 1970s with his album Night Moves and its title track. He has recorded many hit songs, including "Old Time Rock and Roll," "Against the Wind," "Like a Rock," and "Turn the Page." He has sold over 75 million records worldwide and has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Seger was born in Dearborn, Michigan, and grew up in the Detroit area. He began playing in local bands in the early 1960s and released his first album in 1968. He achieved his greatest success in the late 1970s and early 1980s with a string of multi-platinum albums and hit singles. He has continued to tour and record throughout his career, releasing his latest album, I Knew You When, in 2017.
