He is best known for his roles in the films Pumping Iron (1977), Conan the Barbarian (1982), and The Terminator (1984). Coe began his bodybuilding career in the late 1960s and won the Mr. America title in 1971. He went on to win the Mr. Universe title in 1972 and the Mr. Olympia title in 1975. He was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 1999. Coe has also appeared in numerous television shows and films, including the television series The A-Team and the films Pumping Iron, Conan the Barbarian, and The Terminator. Coe is currently 75 years old and has a net worth of $2 million.
