Was groomed to be a beauty pageant contestant by an uncle, who served as her unofficial guardian. She claims she was a runner-up in the Miss Teen Kansas City (MO) Beauty Pageant at the age of 16. Her uncle was convicted of money laundering and sent to prison. She then worked as a checker at WalMart before running away to Florida, where she became a stripper. She moved to Los Angeles and entered the porn business in December of 1991, under the name Fantasia, when she was 18 years old.
