In 2004, Troutman was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the NBA Draft. He has since played for the Lakers, the New Orleans Hornets, the Sacramento Kings, and the Golden State Warriors. Troutman is married to his wife, Ashley, and they have two children.
