Christopher Fletcher is a former English cricketer who played for Derbyshire and England. He was born on 10 December 1957 in English, Lancashire. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. Fletcher made his first-class debut for Derbyshire in 1977 and went on to play for them until his retirement in 1994. He also played for England in two Test matches and four One Day Internationals. Fletcher scored over 10,000 first-class runs and took over 500 wickets in his career. He was a member of the Derbyshire team that won the Benson & Hedges Cup in 1981 and the NatWest Trophy in 1987. Fletcher is currently a coach at Derbyshire County Cricket Club. He is married to former England women's cricketer, Clare Taylor, and they have two children.
