Genevieve Padalecki is an American actress best known for her role as Ruby on the CW series Supernatural. She was born on January 8, 1981 in San Francisco, California. She is the daughter of actor/producer John Padalecki and actress/producer Genevieve Cortese. Genevieve began her acting career in 2003, appearing in the television series Wildfire. She then went on to appear in a number of television shows, including Grey's Anatomy, CSI: Miami, and Cold Case. In 2008, she was cast as Ruby in Supernatural, a role she played until the show's end in 2020. In addition to her acting career, Genevieve is also a producer. She has produced a number of short films, including The Right Girl and The Right One. She is also the co-founder of the production company, GenPad Productions. Genevieve is married to actor Jared Padalecki, with whom she has three children. She currently resides in Austin, Texas.
