In early 2018, after an eight-month engagement, Bila married Jeremy Scher, a corporate strategist and graduate of Rice University. The couple welcomed their first child, a boy, in November 2019. On April 9, 2020, Bila revealed that she and her husband had contracted COVID-19 and that the two were recovering from the virus.

In August 2016, Bila announced her departure from Fox News to join ABC's The View as a permanent co-host during the show's 20th season. While on the show, Bila served as the conservative voice to contrast the liberal co-hosts. Bila departed The View on September 18, 2017. Bila made a return guest appearance on The View on October 17, 2018.
