Majors began his career in the 1960s, appearing in several television series and films. He gained fame for his role as Heath Barkley in the ABC western series The Big Valley, which ran from 1965 to 1969. He then starred as Colonel Steve Austin in the ABC science fiction series The Six Million Dollar Man, which ran from 1974 to 1978. He also starred as Colt Seavers in the ABC action-adventure series The Fall Guy, which ran from 1981 to 1986. Majors has also appeared in several films, including The Klansman (1974), The Norseman (1978), and The Last Ride (2004). Majors has been married three times. He was married to actress Karen Velez from 1988 to 1994, and to Faith Quabius from 2002 to 2006. He has been married to Faith Majors since 2006. He has four children.
