Was the son of Sandy Krasnoff, who headed Victims and Citizens Against Crime until his death in a car accident in 2003.

In 1992, Mr. Krasnoff returned to New Orleans, continuing to study acting, performing in local theater companies and commercials, while still fielding parts in movies. Strong stage roles included his Salieri in "Amadeus" in 2002, and the title role in "The Elephant Man" in 1999, which won him the Big Easy Entertainment Award for best male actor.
