Nahshon Anderson is an American sound engineer and executive. He is best known for his work on films such as The Avengers, Iron Man 3, and The Hunger Games. He has also worked on television shows such as The Walking Dead and American Horror Story. Anderson was born in Pasadena, California, and attended the University of Southern California, where he earned a degree in music production and engineering. After graduating, he worked as a sound engineer for various television shows and films. In 2011, Anderson was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Miniseries or Movie for his work on the television movie The Kennedys. He has also been nominated for several other awards, including a BAFTA Award for Best Sound for The Avengers. Anderson currently serves as the executive vice president of sound at Marvel Studios. He is responsible for overseeing the sound design and mixing for all of Marvel's films.
