Timeline
Upon the merger of the Kingston Men’s Fastball League and the Loughborough Fastball League Steve and the RJB Fury parted ways. He once again enjoyed great mentorship with former RJB Fury members on the ICP team where they enjoyed another great playoff run when Steve sacrificed himself with a terrible slide into home tying And saving the game and also breaking his arm. The coaching staff never covered sliding with Steve as they understood he was too old and brittle to be doing that and didn’t think it would ever happen. The following season when he decided he could do it better, Steve rallied together a team of players because nobody else would and they were determined to make playoffs every year. Luckily with the Napanee Midgets and Bantam Express teams having to go back to school everyone makes playoffs by default. Steve, fortunately was still able to witness many home runs by his companions and former teammates albeit now he was on the receiving end of them.
