In addition to his acting career, Beniades was also a successful businessman. He owned a chain of restaurants in the Los Angeles area, and was a partner in a real estate development firm. Beniades was married to actress and singer, Joanne Gilbert, from 1956 until his death in 2002. He had two children, a son and a daughter.
