Tom Yellin is an American television and film producer. He was born on January 2, 1953 in New York City. He is best known for his work on the Academy Award-winning documentary The Fog of War (2003). Yellin attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a degree in English literature. After college, he worked as a production assistant on the television series The Electric Company. He then went on to produce a number of documentaries, including The War Room (1993), The Celluloid Closet (1995), and The Fog of War (2003). Yellin has also produced a number of television series, including The West Wing (1999-2006), The Newsroom (2012-2014), and The Night Of (2016). He is currently the president of the production company The Documentary Group. Yellin has won numerous awards for his work, including an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for The Fog of War (2003). He has also been nominated for two Emmy Awards and two Producers Guild of America Awards. As of 2021, Tom Yellin's net worth is estimated to be roughly $10 million.
